Frequently Asked Questions

What materials do you use to make the products?

All Snowflake Metalwork products are made from steel parts. Most of the parts that are used in making the products, such as nuts, bolts, rods, etc. are available in any hardware store. A few of the parts must be made at a machine shop (see next answer).

Do you do all the work yourself?

Yes. I do all the work in assembling each Snowflake Metalwork product. I do not outsource any part of the work with the exception of some parts that must be made on a milling machine or lathe at a machine shop.

Is there a guarantee on these products?

Yes. Any Snowflake Metalwork product is guaranteed against breakage, during normal use, as long as you own it.

How do I care for these products?

Snowflake Metalwork products should not be immersed in water or put in a dishwasher. They can be lightly wiped with a dry or damp cloth.

Can these products be refinished?

Yes. Any Snowflake Metalwork product can be refinished for the nominal price of $5 plus shipping. The product will be sandblasted down to bare metal, then recoated. A product with a black finish will then be baked again.

Once I order the item, how long will it be before I receive it?

Once I receive your order, I will ship it to you in about 1-2 days. However, any product that must be made to order will take about 1-2 weeks to ship.

Do you take credit cards?

No, currently we only accept checks or money orders. Learn more about ordering.
